Accountant

Applications are invited for a talented accountant to join our team.

We are looking for an ambitious Accountant who possesses high energy levels and total commitment. You will possess strong interpersonal skills, with the flexibility and openness to work with different clients. Whilst excellent academic results are essential, you will, also have a deeply analytical mind, be independent and capable of taking the initiative whilst working in a small team. At least two (2) years experience would be desirable.

The position’s key responsibilities and deliverables include:
- Client engagement/accounting including payroll, BAS, ATO Returns, Asset Management, Banklink;
- MYOB and client billing, filing/indexing/retrieval – electronic and paper;
- Bank Reconciliations & Audit assistance;
- Assisting for other members of the Eldridge Group of Companies when required –including Grants Management/Processing – budgets, submissions, tracking and acquittals.

Key performance indicators:
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Eldridge Group of companies.
- MYOB skills and working under the direction of Accountants. Filing/indexing and retrieving;
- MS Office advanced competency – including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- 84% client recoverable charge target.
